HI!! I am Andrea and I want to tell you… and the rest of the world that…

YOU ARE PRECIOUS!

Let me introduce myself :) I am Andrea, happily married to the best husband, born in the Netherlands and living on the beautiful south coast of England. I have a passion in my heart that I would like to share with you and the world!

My passion is very interwoven with the journey I have been on and who I have become. It’s very interwoven with my heart and my every day life. I see joy, beauty and preciousness all around me.

This outlook on life though hasn’t always been there. It has been a massive journey and that… hasn’t been easy at all. I was born with something that doctors had rarely heard of, which among a few other little things made my eyes look different. This brought a lot of bullying into my life at primary, secondary school and college. There was little acceptance, often feeling completely left out and at time how people treated me was awful. Don’t hear me wrong – thankfully there were good times too!! But who I was – that teenager that wanted to look like everyone else, that innocent child that wanted to fit in – was overshadowed by words, deeds and labels from others. My sense of worth got defined by exactly those things.

Let’s go forward in time – 15 years later…. I have conquered and I am still conquering every day! It has been a big journey of acceptance, healing and many ups and downs along the way.

My Jesus’ journey brought the pivotal change in my life.

Jesus’ love for me and His truth about me completely changed my understanding of worth. I now know in my heart that I am precious, I am beautiful, I am loved and I have purpose in life. This has become imprinted on my heart and no one can wipe that out. It has changed how I look at myself and everyone around me.

Jesus made me and you… Precious by Design!

Precious…YES – it’s one of the most used words on this website and that is because when you know that you are precious by design – you will treasure the beauty of today. When we look at one another as precious – we celebrate, connect and share the joy and preciousness of life together! Shall we celebrate?

Linking this in with my passion of photography is my joy! I am excited to take pictures of precious human beings and show them their beauty – and that involves you, your story, your preciousness!
